"That camp was really inspiring for me and pushed me further into the STEM field. I actually still have my Raspberry Pi and was recently trying to come up with new ideas to play around with it. Girls Who Code first pushed me into Raspberry Pi Camp, and then Raspberry Pi Camp pushed me into Information Security.
I’m pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity at Ferris State University with a concentration in Digital Forensics, AI, and Penetration Testing. I’ve also gotten involved with the Women in Cyber Security club and the Information Security Intelligence Alliance club here at Ferris.
Raspberry Pi Camp was really the starting point that set me on this path."

"In middle school I attended the Raspberry Pi Youth Coding Camp. Then in high school, I explored different areas of IT through programs like Girls Who Code and later the Cybersecurity and Networking program at Kent Career Tech Center, where I even earned some certifications.
Now, I’m studying fashion at Kendall College of Art and Design! Even back when I was learning coding, I gravitated toward the more creative side of it, like front-end web development, so in a way it makes sense that I’ve landed here.
Raspberry Pi Camp was the first place I realized that technology and creativity could go hand in hand."

"PI Academy sparked my son’s interest in technology. Learning Python was a great experience, but flying a drone was what truly inspired him to keep exploring."
