Inspire the next generation of coders

Join us for one of our Raspberry Pi Coding Camps to help empower students ages 11-14 through hands-on technology education. As a volunteer, you'll inspire the next generation of coders by guiding them through fun, engaging Raspberry Pi activities in a supportive, safe environment.


You will:

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Scratch, Python, SQL, and more.
  • Ability to pass a Michigan State Police background check.
  • Adherence to our Volunteer Code of Conduct and Youth Protection Policy (see PDF below).


Our Raspberry Pi Coding Camps run for five hours each. We ask volunteers to stay for an additional 30-60 minutes before or after the camp to help with setup and teardown.


Once you register as a volunteer, you may sign up for as many or as few camps as you wish.


Registering as a volunteer is easy. 


Simply create a Timecounts account and fill out the short onboarding form. Once your application is approved, you can sign up for any upcoming camps.


Upcoming camps are listed on our Timecounts event page. Once you create an account, signing up is as simple as clicking a button.
